With all that is happening this coming few month we feel our entire business will be turned on its head. More will occur to impact us over the next little while than in the past several years. Are you ready?!

* Release of Adventures In Names

* Many more new art prints coming later this spring. All of these are supported in the pending software release, version 0.3, which is to ship any day. In addition to the new Love & Romance art already introduced in January, there will be new prints for Religious (Christian, Jewish, Islamic), Angels, Music, Tea Cups, Ethnic (African), Native American, Cowboys (& Girls), Horses, Birds, Landscapes, Seascapes, Cottages & Floral, Baby & Toddler, Pets (Puppies & Kittens), Air Balloons, Planes, Trains, Cars, Trucks, and much more. All are 8 ½ X 11 and only available from Gifts With A Heart!

None of our existing prints will be discontinued. The new prints are not replacements for our existing art . They are additions to fill Licensee requests.

Some more patiently than others.  We understand your desire to get it ASAP. As you will see from the following, we feel it may release any time.  However, we are no longer projecting the day.   When we are actually burning disks we will notify you.As I said in my last update we are very-very close. At this point I would rather have it delayed, than you be disappointed with the software itself.  I assure you, you will be anything but disappointed!  Everything we are aware of is fixed.  Although it is still called a Beta version, there have been many new features added so this release. All the items from our wish list for Release 2 are already in this release.

Today, Saturday Feb. 26, we are completing all coding and adding the images of all the art prints to the databases.  This is to support a new feature added, which is the display of the art on the screen.  Now, as you size, drag and drop your text boxes, you can see the art print on your screen.  This way you will better know where everything will print and how it will look on the finished product.

Items Remaining before we begin to burn CDs:

* Add remaining images of back grounds for layout screen.

* Add remaining Instruction Notes, step by step instructions, to each product template.

* Complete sizing of cut marks for smaller templates, mugs, keytags, etc..

* Add remaining images to menus, examples of the completed product.

When these are completed, we are ready to burn the CDs.  How long these will take, we are not sure, but feel it is only a few days.

Q. & A.   Below I have answered many of the questions sent in to me this past couple weeks. Many of the answers reflect new policy changes made to make dealing with us easier and more profitable. For example: No Minimum Orders, No Phone Charge for voice phone orders, etc..

Question. -
I am confused on the programs and pricing.  We have paid for the Adventures in Names and are waiting for the CD Beta  version. I Think.

Then there is Adventure in Art, Art on the Fly, Portraits in Art.  Can't figure out which one costs what amount of money, and exactly what  each one really gives me, or which ones are included with which other one.

Please try to clarify for me.  Sorry if I am the only one confused, but I really am.

Answer -
No, you are not the only one confused!  Too much is happening and it can get confusing. Sorry!  As soon as I get this software release out I'll look at our materials and try to make them more clear.

 "Art on the Fly"
 "Art on the Fly" is a feature of the software which lets the software print versions of the art "on the fly".  Usually in smaller sizes to be used in products which require a smaller size.  It is also used for Award products, silhouettes and Borders to be foiled.  All three of the software products have some form of this feature.  Art libraries will be available separately
 for each.   This feature will not replace pre-printed art prints, we will still sell and support pre-printed art.  To print an 8 1/2 X 11 "on-the-fly"
takes too long.  THis feature will only be used when you need an art print
you do not carry, or are out of stock of.

The Software
 There are Three software products we plan to release this year, "Adventures
In Names", "Adventures In Art", and "Portraits In Art".  As you advance from
one software to the next the newer more advanced version supports all of the
features of the previous one.

 * Adventures In Names, our new Windows 95/98 Names Poem software.  Version
0.3 to release any day.

 * Adventures In Art, is an upgrade to Adventures In Names.  It provides an
"Art on the Fly" feature for our art works as well as many additional
products and capabilities.  To be released later this year.

 * Portraits In Art has all the capabilities of the other two, plus the
ability to paint your customers photo into the art.  To release later this
year.

 You have the Beta for "Adventures In Names" and the right to recieve this
next release, version 0.3, for free.  All you need do is pay the shipping,
or include it with some other order.  We expect it to release any day.

What is the Software Lock Out?   The Beta System locks every three months to insure the latest beta update has been installed. When the system was originally installed, it told you the date it was unlocked until. For several days before the lockout, the system warns you every time you log in. In order to unlock it, you need a simple password given while you are in front of the software lock screen. This takes about two minutes, but you must call when it warns you or it will lock up. Once locked it is still only a password to unlock. You must be in front of the computer and call during regular business hours ( Monday - Thursday 9am-4pm).

Why is there a lockout? The lockout protects you from your system being used if stolen. We have recovered several stolen systems because of the lockout! This is because when the thief calls to have it unlocked we report it back to you. In addition it helps keep us from having to support bugs which have been fixed but were the user does not install the fix update. It also protects us from licensees who owe us money but will not pay. Finally it insures licenseesuse our supplies to create products, as agreed.

How do I get my Free Warrants >From the Fall Workshop?  If, when your system was installed, you did not receive the Free Warrants from the workshop, all you have to do is ask!

How soon does my order ship?  Emergency orders (Overnight, 2nd & 3rd day), in by 11 AM, receive same day shipping. Ground orders ship within 24 hours. Frames may take up to 48 hours to ship.

 Is there a minimum order?   There are no minimum orders.

Are there handling charges? There is a minimum $5 handling charge.

Glass and Full case Acrylics may have additional handling charges passed on to us from the respective vendors. (Glass orders, less than $100 may have a $5 handling charge added by the vendor.  Full Case Acrylics on orders less than $25 also may have additional handling charges forwarded by the vendor.)

Service Charges for Voice Orders?  There are no service charges for voice orders. We, however, do not take responsibility for mistakes from voice orders.What about orders without product numbers?  No order will be taken without product numbers.

Releasing Orders not paid for?  Without exception, No order is shipped unpaid to anyone!  No CODs.

How do we do business?  We do business by phone, e-mail, and fax. We must be able to have contact  by phone. All orders are pre-paid before released for shipping.
