Q. & A. for Adventures In Names Version 0.3

Q. - If we already have Adventures In Names do we pay or is this upgrade free?
A. - Version 0.3 is a FREE upgrade to anyone who already has Adventures In Names.  If you already have the original release CD or version 0.2 then all you need do is wait for the E-Mail next week.  That E-Mail will be sent to everyone on the E-Mail list. The upgrade will be attachments to it.  Follow the instructions in the E-Mail to install the upgrade.  Also if you want a CD with this version, it too is free, you pay the shipping only.  If your E-Mail is set to a limited size too small for the Upgrade E-Mail you will need to order the CD for the cost of shipping only.

Q. - If we attended the workshop do we pay the $50 or is this upgrade free to us too?
A. - It is Free to all those who went to the workshop!  If you went to the Workshop but have never received a CD of the Adventures In Names. Order one!  It is free for all those who went to the workshop.

Q. - I was promised 100 warrants for going to the Workshop. How do I receive them?
A. - The new software comes with 100 warrants for anyone who orders it by today, January 15. Those who went to the workshop will receive these plus another 100 for attending the workshop, 200 total warrants. After installing the software CD, call to get your password to install your warrants.

Q. - I never recieved a manual with my CD of Adventures In Names.  How do I get one?
A. - For the Beta release the manual is on the Web Page at http://www.giftswithaheart.com/Install1.htm  Next week there will be new chapters added covering some of the more advanced features in version 0.3.  You will be notifed when they are there.The manual is also on the Version 0.3 CD.  You can print it with pictures from the CD.If you want a hard copy of the manual order one.  It is $5 plus shipping.

Q. - I've fixed and added a lot of names to my old system, can I move them to the new Windows Software?
A. - Yes!

Q. - Can I use my old system in addition to the new one?
A. - Yes!  Some will want to do this.  The new Adventures In Names does not have Surnames or a Family product.  This is because these two products are undergoing compleate changes from the old look.  Therefore if you use these a lot you might want to use the old Names & Faces software when making these. In most cases you can Task Switch between the two software.

Q. - I have the old "Windows" software installed on my computer but the only way to get it to work on my computer is to go thru DOS.   Do you think this new cd will fix that?  Or is this a totally different program?
A. - What you have is the Names & Faces software for Windows & DOS, Version NFWIN 25A.  Adventures In Names is a totally different and new software. It is a true Windows software. It runs only under Windows 95, 98 or NT.  It is much easier to use and do things in from the DOS software you have now. Q. - Since I still operate with the Notable computer, I can't order this new release, can I?
A. - No, your computer can't run Windows 95 or 98 and it only has 4 MEGs RAM.  You need a Pentium computer with at least 32 meg of RAM running Windows 95, 98, or NT.
