Q. - What is the difference between Adventures In Names and Adventures In Art? A. - Adventures In Names prints a name meaning , poem, or pet information on a pre-printed art prints using a Laser Printer, Adventures In Art can to. In addition Adventures In Art allows you to print the art desired directly from the software in addition to the name meaning , poem, or pet information using a color printer. "Art on the Fly" if you will! Q. - Adventures In Art - Basic VS. Adventures In Art - Pro A. - Adventures In Art - Basic is a templates plug in to Adventures In Names which allows the art library files to be used in pre built templates. These templates include the basic products Key Tags, Mugs, 5 x 7, Certificates etc.. Adventures In Art - Pro is a completely new software which allows greater control of the Art being used. Many new and exciting products can be created. For example a family tree product can have an apple on the tree for each child. Or a Family product can have a bunny for each child. Also the PRO version has support for Digital cameras, scanners, etc. Templates provide for a frame border in which to place photos of the individual/s. Where in the Basic version the text must be over the top of a white area, in the PRO version it can print directly over the art allowing it to be far more versatile. The PRO version can be used with art libraries of our current art prints, parchments etc. and print the art print with the text in the sky or some other area. The PRO version can print COLORED text! This is only the beginning of the PRO versions features. The PRO version brings an entirely new level of professionalism to Adventures In Art. Q. - What is Adventures In Art , "Art on the Fly", "Art -On-Demand"? A. - "Art on the Fly" and "Art -On-Demand" are the same thing. It is a feature of the Adventures In Art software which lets the software print versions of the art "on the fly". Usually in smaller sizes to be used in products which require a smaller size. It is also used for Award products, silhouettes and Borders to be foiled. Art libraries are available for each. Q. - Does Adventures In Art replace pre-printed
8 1/2 X 11 art prints? Q. - What are these "New Generation" certificates?

A. - Yes, you can use them, but you do not have to! Adventures In Art supports printing both ways, you can use on Pre-printed art like we do now, or Adventures In Art has the ability to print the art and personalization, directly from the software itself. Q.- I am not familiar with the "Names & Faces" layout. What does it look like? A. - Now that it is available in Adventures In Art - PRO we call it the PRO layout. It has been the most preferred layout we've had. Click above to see an example. Q.- I already have purchased royalties for my Names software do these credits work with the new software? A. - Yes, Warrants, Royalties, Uses, all transfer to the new software. Q.- Is Gifts With A Heart no longer supporting their old software, like Names & Faces for DOS/Win? A. - We are and always have supported our original software "Names & Faces" and all our older software. When we announced the "Names & Faces" software was dead, we only meant that the way this business has been being done will soon be replaced by something newer and better, "Adventures In Names". The "Names & Faces" software is over Six years old. The features which it had that the Windows software have not are now supported in our latest version. For this reason we feel no one will continue to use the "Names & Faces" software. Thus it will die! |
