Symptom: Every Three months every system
asks for a system Unlock password to obtained from Technical Support.
Cause: This is not a problem. The software was
designed this way for security purposes.
- Stolen systems discontinue operations. Some have even
been recovered when thief calls for an unlock.
- Insures users keep their software use agreements.
- Users agree to use our supplies, Unlocks insure
they keep their agreements to do so, keeping us all financially healthy,
so we may continue to service each other and our customers.
Remedy: Call Tech Support (
435-781-2025 Ext. 10)
during normal operation hours (Monday - Thursday 9am - 4pm).
Warning: Since the system gives 30 days prior warning,
unlocks are
not considered emergencies.
After Hours
Unlocks may be subject to a $30 per incident support charge if a technician
must be paged.
International Licensees: If you are international and
desire to Unlock using E-Mail then you must obtain the date and key from
the System Preferences screen. Leave the computer on that screen. E-mail
the
date and
key to
pmasupport@easilink.com asking
for the password. It will be sent back the next day.
